Summary/objective
The Janitorial Supervisor - Working Supervisor position will oversee our facility maintenance and cleaning division and will be responsible for day-to-day facility responsibilities such as supervise, direct, and coordinate employees and maintenance of supplies and equipment. The Janitorial Supervisor should have a clear understanding of customer service guidelines and principles and must be proactive in their role.
Essential functions
- Establish cleaning standards and procedures for employees and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures
- Train/Coach and develop employees
- Schedule and assign tasks to employees based on job requirements and ensure they are carried out proficiently
- Responsible for general equipment maintenance, requesting replacements when necessary
- Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials so as to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse
- Provide any form of required assistance to employees while they carry out their duties

Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time
Exposure to standard work site environments
Travel required
Minimum travel outside the immediate operating area may be required
Education and Experience
- A basic degree in any hospitality-related field is not required but preferred
- Must be Bilingual English/Spanish
- Must have a clean driving record and a Valid Driver's License
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have relevant experience in cleaning and supervision of cleaning procedures
