Job Summary: The Project Manager handles residential, commercial and large loss restoration projects. Jobs include but are not limited to fire and water restoration jobs that involve mold, lead paint and/or asbestos as well as reconstruction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Mitigation:
1. Manage all aspects of the remediation of homes from planning to coordination of schedules, possible reconstruction, inspections during various phases, monitoring permits (when applicable), and daily oversight of workers.
2. Create estimate in appropriate software (Xactimate or other) or provide detailed information so that it can be written.
3. Develop schedules, plan materials and ensure work is within the project scope.
4. Oversee the construction schedule, budget and ensure project is completed within deadline and budget.
5. Work with the customer to ensure they understand the process and insurance adjusters to provide updates and changes.
6. Ensure crew is prepared with the proper scope and materials.
7. Maintain communication with the customer to ensure job is being completed to their satisfaction.
8. Ensure a high level of work is being performed.
Perform Interior Inspections:
1. Contact the customer within specified time frames for emergency and non-emergency claims
2. Schedule all appointments.
3. Go to the job site to perform the inspection.
4. Provide necessary supporting documentation including labeled photos, sketches, scope notes with observations, and room diagrams with accurate measurements so that an accurate estimate can be written.
5. Create estimate in appropriate software (Xactimate or other) or provide detailed information so that it can be written.
Customer Service:
1. Work with customer to ensure they understand the process.
2. Work with insurance adjusters to provide updates and changes.
3. Ensure all updates are made within the internal management software.
4. Contact customer and do walk through of the scope to ensure that it is accurate, and all questions are answered.
5. Schedule jobs based on deadlines and crew availability.
Leadership:
1. Ensure crew is prepared with the proper scope and materials.
2. Maintain communication with the customer to ensure job is being completed to their satisfaction.
3. Continuous management of job labor and material costs to ensure the job is staying within budget.
4. Manage sub-contractors to ensure they are responding and completing the job accordingly.
5. Maintain status in company’s project management software (DASH).
6. Resolving customer issues and complaints.
7. Adhere to the guidelines and Service Level Agreements set forth by insurance programs.
8. Ensure a high-level quality of work is being performed.
Project Management:
1. Interact with customers throughout the job including the coordination of material selection.
2. Interact with vendors and subcontractors to review and maintain quality repairs.
3. Provide all required permits.
4. Schedule and meet inspectors at the job site.
5. Procure material for the job site.
6. Adhere to project schedules.
7. Approve purchase orders.
8. Visit job sites every week throughout the life cycle of the project.
9. Update systems with photos and notes.
10. Assist with the development and maintenance of a well-qualified pool of subcontractors and vendors.
11. Ensure all work by subcontractors’ employees is done following company safety procedures and professional standards.
12. Assist with the collection of all necessary documentation at the close of the job.
13. Follow-up with the customer to ensure timely payments and billing collections.
14. Maintain customer satisfaction as determined by completed satisfaction surveys.
15. Participate in the on-call rotation, requiring evening and weekend point of contact for any new losses.
16. Execute first interaction with customer on site.
17. Collects 3D scans on the project for exterior and interior repairs.
18. Scopes losses.
19. Discusses the critical job path with the customer and obtains work authorization/contract.
20. Responsibility for adhering to the Health & Safety Program.
21. Participate in local company efforts as the “subject matter expert” in the industry.
22. Meet or exceed property owner expectations for communication and service.
23. Help manage large and complex losses.
24. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures at all times.
25. Professionally represents the Advanced Disaster Recovery Values.
26. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
a) Prior experience in interior inspections
b) Experience with Xactimate or other estimate writing software
c) Demonstrated experience in Environmental based restoration projects, Mold, Lead Paint and Asbestos
d) IICRC certification preferred
e) Lead Paint Inspectors License and any asbestos or mold certifications preferred
f) Understanding of moisture mapper is a plus
g) Water mitigation experience helpful
h) Reconstruction services experience
i) General contracting experience a plus
j) Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication skills
k) Must be able to pass a background check, pre-employment testing and have a clean driving record
l) Strong leadership ability/excellent communication skills
m) People-oriented demeanor with the ability to relate to staff and clients
n) Complete mandatory safety training online
o) Must follow procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook
Physical Requirements:

The physical requirements involve body movements including walking, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists and fingers. The senses of being able to see and hear and have full Power of speech are necessary.
